This is the first time a corrected and engraved set of parts of Ethel Smyth's Concerto for Violin, French Horn and orchestra has been made available. The whole concerto has been crossed referenced not just with Smyth's original score but also her own published piano reduction and the original orchestral parts. In all, over 2,000 errors, omissions and inconsistencies have been corrected to produce this new edition. The alternative versions Smyth authorised have also been published as separate publications.
The orchestral parts are the same for all three versions of the concerto. Only the solo horn part in each score has been changed.
