Max Bruch Cazone for cello and orchestra. Set of parts
Set of parts. 2,2,2,2, 4,2,0,0 Timp. Strings (6,5,4,3,2)
Max Bruch wrote far more works than his well known First Violin Concerto and Kol Nidre. Canzone was one of several cello pieces he wrote shortly after Kol Nidre, a work which has sadly been neglected. It is however, a delicately scored piece and one which concentrates on musical content rather than being a showpiece for a soloist.
The orchestral Full Score is under FMP 10012501
There is also a new edition of the version for cello and piano FMP 75012501
