Frank Bridge's Berceuse H8 is one of his earliest works and dates from 1901. It proved extremely popular and numerous arrangements of this short piece appeared throughout the rest of his life. This is the original version of the piece which has a longer introduction and a more developed central section. The instrumentation is also slightly different to a later version made by the composer.
