Maksym Berezovsky died in total obscurity in 1777 and for the next centuries remained pretty much unknown. During his life however, he wrote the first symphonies by a Ukrainian composer and at least some of them were published. The symphony today referred to as No.3 was written at some point around 1770 and published in Paris. A copy of score was discovered in the French national archives a few years ago.
